The Services may use automated systems to analyze information and make certain decisions necessary to operate, secure, and maintain the Services. These systems may evaluate information generated through your use of the Services to help detect harmful activity, prevent unauthorized access, maintain the integrity of the Services, and support the reliable delivery of features. 6. Sharing Information

The Services may share information in several ways, depending on how you use the System, the settings you choose, and the features you enable. This section explains the categories of sharing, why information is shared, and the controls available to you.
6.1 When You Post or Share User Content With the General Public: When you post User Content, you direct the Services to disclose that information broadly. Public User Content — including your profile information, such as your name or pseudonym, username, and profile images — can be viewed by anyone, including people who are not signed in. Public Content may also appear on third‑party websites, in search engine results, or be downloaded and re-shared by others.
6.2 When You Post or Share Content With Other System Users: Depending on your settings and the features you use, the Services may share:
⦁    Your interactions with other content, such as replies or follows
⦁    Content you send directly to another user, such as Direct Messages

If you communicate with someone who accesses the Services through a third‑party application, your shared content may also be available to that third‑party service.
6.3: Third-Party Service Providers: The Services may share information with service providers who perform functions on its behalf. These may include:
⦁    Payment processors (e.g., Wix, Square or PayPal)
⦁    Hosting and infrastructure providers (e.g., Wix or cloud providers)
⦁    Analytics and measurement providers (e.g., Wix or Google Analytics)
⦁    Age‑assurance and identity‑verification providers
⦁    Fraud‑detection and security partners

These service providers use information according to their own terms and policies.
6.4 Advertisers: Advertising may help support the Services. Advertisers can learn information from your interactions with ads on or off the Services. For example, if you click an ad, the advertiser or website operator may know that you came from the Services and may receive information associated with the ad, such as intended audience characteristics or Services‑generated identifiers. Advertisers may also collect additional information from you, such as cookie identifiers or your IP address, according to their own policies.
6.5 Third‑Party Content and Integrations: The Services may share information with you at your direction — for example, when you authorize a third‑party application to access your Account or when you choose to share feedback. If you interact with third‑party video content or cross‑platform sharing features, those third-parties can receive and process your information under their own privacy policies.
6.6 Third‑Party Collaborators: Depending on your choices, the Services may share information with third‑party collaborators who support features you use or integrations you enable.
6.7 Through APIs: The Services may make public System information available through APIs, embeds, and similar technologies. This allows websites, applications, and others to display or analyze public content.
6.8 When Required by Law, to Prevent Harm, or in the Public Interest: The Services may preserve, use, share, or disclose information if it believes doing so is reasonably necessary to, without limitation:
⦁    Comply with laws, regulations, legal processes, or governmental requests
⦁    Protect the safety of any Natural Person
⦁    Protect the safety or integrity of the Services, including preventing spam, abuse, or malicious activity
⦁    Explain why content or accounts were removed for violating policies
⦁    Address fraud, security, or technical issues

The Services may also use or share signals and information to infer, verify, or preserve age or identity information to comply with regulatory requirements or for safety, security, fraud prevention, or identity‑verification purposes. Information may be shared for these purposes.
6.9 Sharing to Provide the System: The Services may share information among third parties as necessary to operate, maintain, and provide the Services.
6.10 As Part of a Change in Ownership: In the event that Truth Tunes sells any of the Services as a business, your personal information may be shared or transferred as part of that transaction. In that event, these rules apply:
⦁    Any buyer will be required to maintain the protections described in this Privacy Policy and will assume all legal obligations of the Services.
⦁    Any buyer will continue to honor all "Do Not Sell or Share" requests, "Limit the Use of Sensitive Personal Information" requests, and other opt-outs that you provided to the System prior to the transfer.

7. How Long Data Is Kept

The Services retain different types of information for different periods of time. Retention depends on how long the information is needed to operate the System, comply with legal obligations, maintain safety and security, or support the features you choose to use.
7.1 Account and Profile Information: The Services use core account information — such as your display name, username, and contact information — for as long as your account remains active. This information is necessary to provide you with access to the System.
7.2 Content and Usage Information: The Services may retain information about the content you post, your interactions with others, and your activity on the platform for as long as your account remains active or until the content is removed, subject to applicable law.
7.3 Payment and Transaction Information: Payment information needed to process transactions — such as card details and billing information — is retained for as long as you use paid features. Transaction records may be kept longer when required by law, including for tax, accounting, and regulatory purposes.
7.4 Communications With the Services: If you communicate with the Services (for example, by email or through support channels), the Services may retain the communication and its contents for up to 14 months, unless a longer retention period is required to comply with legal obligations or to exercise or defend the Services' legal rights.
7.5 Device, Log, and Cookie‑Based Information: Device information, log information, inferred identity information, and data collected through cookies or similar technologies may be retained for up to 13 months.
7.6 Advertising and Partner Information: Information about your interactions with ads — on or off the Services — and information received from advertising or business partners may be retained for up to 13 months.
7.7 Information Related to Terms Violations: If your account violates the Services' Terms and is suspended, the Services may retain identifiers associated with the account — such as your email address or phone number — indefinitely to help prevent repeat policy violations and maintain the integrity of the System and Services.
7.8 Extended Retention for Legal, Safety, and Security Reasons: The Services may retain information for longer than the periods described above when necessary to:
⦁    Comply with laws, regulations, legal processes, or governmental requests, including valid preservation requests
⦁    Respond to or defend against legal claims, litigation, or regulatory matters
⦁    Maintain the safety, integrity, and security of the Services, including investigating Terms violations, abuse, fraud, or harmful activity

7.9 Public Content Outside the Services: Public User Content may continue to exist elsewhere even after it is removed from the Services. For example, search engines or third‑party services may retain cached or archived copies of your posts according to their own policies.
7.10 Right to Delete: You maintain the right to request the deletion of your personal information at any time, subject to applicable legal exemptions. Deletion can take up to 30 days after your request is received, as stated in this Privacy Policy.

8. Updating Your Info and Account Deletion

8.1 Updating Your Info: You can update the information you provide to the Services by editing your profile or adjusting your Account settings. You can also request information about the data the Services have collected or inferred about you by contacting the System. The format of the information provided may vary depending on the type of data and applicable laws.
8.2 Responding to Requests: To protect your privacy and maintain security, the Services may take steps to verify your identity before responding to requests for access, correction, deletion, portability, or other privacy‑related actions. In some cases, the Services may deny a request — for example, when identity cannot be verified, when fulfilling the request would conflict with legal obligations, or when the request is manifestly unfounded or excessive.
8.3 Deleting Your Information: When you delete your account, it will be deactivated and your data will be scheduled for deletion, which can take up to 30 days. Once deactivated, your profile information — including your display name, username, and public profile — will no longer be visible on the Services. Certain information may be retained for a longer period as required by law, for safety and security purposes, or as otherwise described in this Privacy Policy.
8.4 Objecting, Restricting, or Withdrawing Consent: You can manage certain privacy settings and Account features through your user profile settings. Changes you make may take time to be fully reflected across the Services. Depending on the settings you adjust, you may experience changes in functionality or limitations in your ability to use certain features.
Where applicable law provides, you can also object to certain types of processing, request that processing be restricted, or withdraw consent for processing that relies on your consent. These rights may not apply in all circumstances and may be subject to verification requirements.
8.5 Authorized Agent Requests: If permitted by law, you can authorize another Natural Person to submit a request on your behalf. Authorized agents may submit requests related to access, correction, deletion, or portability by contacting the System as described in the How to Contact the System section of this Privacy Policy. The Services may require additional information to verify both your identity and the agent’s authority.

9. Your Options and the System

The Services are based in the U.S. and available worldwide to all lawful users who meet the requirements outlined in the Terms and Privacy Policy. You are responsible for respecting your local legal requirements, and for knowing your regional regulations and applicable laws to use the System.
9.1 Legal Bases for Processing Information: The Services process information only when there is a valid legal basis to do so. These bases may include, without limitation:
⦁    Providing and operating the Services, including maintaining your account and delivering features you choose to use
⦁    Fulfilling contractual obligations, such as processing payments or providing requested functionality
⦁    Complying with legal obligations, including safety, security, and regulatory requirements
⦁    Protecting the safety, integrity, and security of the Services and users
⦁    Pursuing legitimate interests, such as improving the Services, preventing fraud, and supporting analytics and measurement

Where consent is used as a legal basis, you may withdraw it by contacting the System in writing, followed by ceasing use of the System and deleting any Accounts associated with the System or the Services. Withdrawing consent does not affect processing that occurred before the withdrawal.
9.2 International Data Transfers: To provide the Services, information may be transferred to and processed in countries other than the one where you live. These transfers are necessary to operate a global platform and to support features such as cross‑border communication, content delivery, and account functionality.
The Services may use:
⦁    Data centers and cloud providers located in multiple regions
⦁    Affiliates and service providers that support operations, security, analytics, and infrastructure
⦁    Third‑party partners that enable features or integrations

9.3 International Users: Our services are operated from the United States. If you are located outside of the U.S., please be aware that your information may be transferred to, stored, and processed in the U.S., where our servers and databases may be located. Data protection laws in the United States may be different from those in your country of residence.
9.4 Your Responsibility: By using our services, you consent to this transfer, storage, and processing. You are responsible for complying with any local laws in your jurisdiction that may impact your use of the Services or data privacy rights.

10. The System’s Audience

10.1 Age Requirements: The Services are not directed to individuals under 13 years old, and you may not use the System if you are under the age of 13. You must also be old enough to consent to the processing of your personal data in your country or region, or have verifiable consent from a parent or legal guardian where required by law. If the System becomes aware that an individual under 13 years of age has provided personal information to the Services, the Services will take reasonable steps to delete the information and terminate the individual’s Account.
10.2 Users Aged 13 to 18: If you are between 13 and 18 years old (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction, if higher), you may use the System only with the permission of and under the responsibility of a parent or legal guardian, where required by applicable law or by the Terms. Parents and guardians are responsible for reviewing how the Services work, discussing appropriate use with minors in their care, and supervising their use of the System.
10.3 Parental consent and control: Where required by law the System may request or verify parental or guardian consent before allowing a minor to create or continue using an Account or access certain features. The Services may also take steps to confirm the identity or authority of a parent or guardian before acting on requests related to a minor’s data.
Parents or guardians may contact the System to:
⦁    Request access to information associated with a minor’s account, where permitted by law
⦁    Request correction or deletion of a minor’s information, subject to legal and safety requirements
⦁    Withdraw consent for a minor’s use of the Services, where consent is the basis for processing

10.4 If you believe a restricted individual has used the Services: If you are a parent or guardian and believe that an individual under age 13, or a minor who is not allowed to use the System under this Privacy Policy or the Terms, has provided personal information to the Services, you should contact the System. The Services will review the request and take appropriate steps, which may include deleting information and closing the Account, consistent with the Terms and legal and safety obligations.

11. Changes to This Privacy Policy

11.1 Updates to the Privacy Policy: The most current version of this Privacy Policy governs how the Services process your information. The Services may update or revise this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in the Services, legal requirements, or operational practices. If revisions are made that are determined to be material, the Services will provide notice and, where required by law, an opportunity to review the updated Privacy Policy before you continue to use the Services. Continued use of the Services after the effective date of an updated Privacy Policy constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
11.2 Language: This Privacy Policy is written in English. Translations may be made available for convenience; however, in the event of any inconsistency or conflict, the English version will control. You acknowledge that English is the language of reference for interpreting this Privacy Policy.
